Moonbeetle is a small web studio in Antwerp. No big team, no overhead costs — you work directly with the designer building your website.

Behind Moonbeetle is Joris, a web designer with more than 25 years of experience. That’s not some flashy marketing claim, but simply the sum of many websites, many clients, and many lessons learned. Staying small, not out of necessity, but out of conviction: working directly with one person means you don’t lose time to intermediaries.

What Moonbeetle does — and what it doesn’t

Moonbeetle builds websites, webshops and helps get existing sites back on track. For clients who want it, Moonbeetle also takes on the role of webmaster: updates, adjustments, technical follow-up — so you can focus on your own business.

What Moonbeetle does not do: ongoing SEO campaigns, ad management or social media strategy. Specialized agencies are better suited for that. Moonbeetle makes sure the basics are right — a technically sound, fast and findable website — and that is often already the biggest part of the work.

The way of working

There are no standard templates and no one-size-fits-all solutions. Every website is built based on what you need: your offer, your customers, your story. That takes a bit more time in the beginning, but results in a website that lasts for years without you constantly having to tinker with it.

  • Simplicity over effects. Strong layouts that will still work in five years, not this quarter’s design trend.
  • Done right from the start. Prefer solidly built over fixing things afterward.
  • Transparent about what is and isn’t possible. If something is outside Moonbeetle’s scope, that is said — and you’ll be referred to someone who can do it.

Based in Antwerp, active throughout Belgium

Most clients are based in and around Antwerp, but Moonbeetle works for entrepreneurs and organizations throughout Belgium. An initial conversation can easily take place online — or just over a coffee if you prefer.
